Tonino Lamborghini Añejo Tequila

Made in Mexico, Tonino Lamborghini Añejo spends more than a year resting in oak barrels. It is part of the Italian brand founded by Tonino Lamborghini. Barrel aging develops a deep amber color with copper highlights and rounds the agave character. The tequila is bottled at 40% ABV.

Roasted agave and caramel lead the aromas, with vanilla bean, oak and a little dried fruit following. Cooked agave sweetness continues on the palate, layered with toffee and baking spice. Soft oak gives the liquid a rounded feel. Vanilla, spice and toasted wood remain through the long, warm finish.

Serve in a snifter or tequila glass and allow a few minutes before sipping. One large cube gently cools the pour. For an Old Fashioned, combine with agave nectar and bitters. Dark chocolate makes a pairing.
