Description

In the Jalisco highlands, mature blue agave provides the foundation for Te Amo Reposado. Cooking and fermentation precede its time in oak barrels. The resting period adds warmth and structure, with the plant's sweetness still central to the tequila. Bottled at 40% ABV, it combines cooked agave with a measured wood influence.

Roasted agave, vanilla, and a little caramel introduce the nose. Citrus peel and dried herbs appear behind them. The palate brings together cooked agave, toasted oak, and baking spice. Light honey and dried fruit add sweetness, while an earthy note develops through the middle. Oak and vanilla gradually fade through a medium, warm finish. Agave sweetness stays present at the close.

Serve neat at room temperature in a rocks glass or tequila snifter. For a Reposado Margarita, shake 2 parts tequila with 1 part fresh lime juice and 1 part triple sec. Strain over fresh ice into a salt-rimmed glass.

Nose

Roasted agave leads with light vanilla and a subtle hint of caramel carried from the oak aging. Faint citrus peel and a touch of dried herbs round out the initial aromas.

Palate

Cooked agave sweetness anchors the palate alongside notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and warm baking spice. A gentle earthiness comes through mid-palate, with light honey and dried fruit adding layered complexity without masking the agave character.

Finish

Medium-length finish with a pleasant warmth, fading notes of oak and vanilla, and a clean agave sweetness that lingers without becoming cloying.
