Description

Riazul gives this Mexican extra añejo tequila four years of maturation. It spends the first three in American oak barrels, followed by a year in Oloroso sherry casks. The two stages define its aging process. Bottled at 40% ABV, it brings oak maturation and sherry-cask influence into a tequila centered on dried fruit, honey and vanilla.

On the palate, sweet dried fruit recalls raisins, figs and dates. Honey adds another layer of sweetness and a velvety texture. Vanilla appears underneath the fruit, becoming part of a smooth, lingering finish. The tasting moves between those dried-fruit notes and the softer honey and vanilla elements.
