Description

Fifteen months in American oak whiskey barrels give Pantalones Añejo its rounded texture and sweet barrel notes. Made from 100% organic agave, the tequila is bottled at 40% ABV. Its maturation brings vanilla, butterscotch and brown sugar into focus, with oak providing a spiced counterpoint.

American oak, roasted nuts and dried fruit open the nose. Vanilla and caramel follow, with traces of smoke and toasted barrel. The palate has a light sweetness and a smooth texture. Butterscotch, brown sugar and maple sit alongside nuts and oak spice. Vanilla, toasted wood and a touch of dates extend through the long finish.

Serve neat or over a large ice cube. In an Añejo Old Fashioned, use bitters, a sugar cube and an orange twist. Pair with flan, roasted nuts or slow-cooked carnitas.
