Description

European and American oak both shape Mayenda Reposado Double Cask. The European barrels contribute spice and earth, with cinnamon, chamomile and red apple notes. American oak brings butterscotch, honeycomb and vanilla. Mayenda uses those two sources of wood character to build a reposado that moves between floral spice and rounded sweetness.

Cinnamon leads the nose alongside chamomile and sweet red apple. The palate has a smooth texture, carrying butterscotch, honeycomb and vanilla over earthy, spicy notes. Freshly cracked black pepper appears in the long finish. Mineral and earth tones follow, with gentle warmth and a little caramelized agave remaining at the end.
