Description

Cuervo's distillers use their proprietary Esencia de Agave method to make Reserva de la Familia Organic Platino. The process is intended to retain the agave's character in a clear, organic tequila. Bottled at 40% ABV, this blanco centers on agave, with fruit, herbs and pepper running through the glass.

Honeyed agave and cracked pepper open the nose. Apple adds fruit, while parsley brings an herbal edge. The palate starts with ripe melon and honey before turning warmer and lightly spicy. Earthy hay balances the sweetness. The finish is rounded and clean, with light pepper and lingering herbal agave notes.

Serve neat in a tequila flute or tulip glass. For a highball, add ice, club soda and green apple. A margarita with lime, honey syrup and salt follows its honeyed notes.
