Description

Hand-selected blue Weber agave from the Jalisco highlands begins this Don Julio 1942 añejo. The agave is slowly cooked before fermentation and distillation. Maturation follows in American white oak for at least two and a half years. The 2026 FIFA World Cup edition presents that tequila in a gold, trophy-inspired decanter with a malachite-hued closure.

Caramel, roasted agave, and warm oak lead the aroma. Vanilla and toffee shape the rounded palate, with roasted nuts and a little spice adding detail. The finish is long and soft. Sweet agave and oak remain, with a light touch of barrel spice.

Pour neat into a snifter or serve over a large cube in a rocks glass. Dark chocolate or roasted nuts make fitting accompaniments for a tasting shared during a match.
