Description

Corralejo makes Grand Reserve Añejo from 100% handpicked Blue Weber agave. It matures for at least two years in French Limousin oak barrels. That extended time in wood is central to the tequila's character. The release comprised 2,000 cases, with the liquid showing an ochre color in the glass.

Chocolate, vanilla and walnut sit alongside woody aromas on the nose. The palate has a silky texture and opens with sweetness. Wood becomes more apparent as the flavors develop, carrying into a lingering finish. The tasting moves from sweet opening notes toward a sustained oak impression, with texture remaining a defining feature throughout.

Serve neat in a snifter or Glencairn glass. One large ice cube offers a cooler alternative and gradually mellows the tequila as it melts.
