Description

Corazon gives blue agave an extended rest in oak barrels for its Extra Anejo. The wood brings an aged character while the agave remains a clear part of the liquid. Made without additives and bottled at 40% ABV, it brings together earthy agave and the flavors developed during time in barrel.

Fresh agave meets woody aromas and a little vanilla on the nose. Mature oak leads into toasted almond and a restrained caramel note on the palate. Beneath those flavors sits the earthy depth of blue agave. The texture is velvety, with a long finish that carries a gentle warmth.

Pour neat to follow the agave and oak together, or serve over ice. At the table, pair with grilled meats or aged cheeses.
