Ciclos Tequila 80

The cycles of the agave fields give Ciclos its name. Produced in Mexico, this tequila centers its house style on agave, with sweetness, citrus and earthy notes carried through the liquid. It is intended for both sipping and mixing. In the glass, it is clear with silvery highlights.

Cooked agave and lime zest open the nose. White pepper adds definition, while a light herbal note sits behind the citrus. The palate moves from roasted agave sweetness into fresh citrus and subtle mineral earthiness. Pepper returns at the close. The finish is warm and clean, with agave sweetness remaining after the other notes fade.

Serve at room temperature in a copita or tulip glass. For a Margarita, shake two parts tequila with one part lime juice and a bar spoon of agave nectar. Pair with citrus-marinated ceviche.
