Description

Cazcanes uses brick ovens to roast its agave piñas before small-batch distillation. For Rosa Blanco No.9, a finishing step gives the tequila its blush color and gentle softness. The producer's highland roots in Jalisco sit behind a tequila centered on agave, flowers, and fruit. It is made without additives.

Hibiscus, rose water, and citrus blossom rise alongside fresh agave. White peach and guava bring fruit to the nose, with a faint mineral thread underneath. Agave sweetness leads the palate, followed by tropical fruit, rose petal, and citrus zest. Mild earthiness gives those floral notes some grounding. The medium finish carries soft warmth as citrus and flowers recede into lightly sweet agave.

Sip neat from a copita or tequila glass. For a Rosa Paloma, combine 2 parts tequila, 3 parts grapefruit soda, and a squeeze of lime over ice. Serve with a salted rim and grapefruit wedge.

How to drink
  1. Neat: Pour 2 parts Cazcanes Rosa Blanco No.9 into a tequila glass or copita and sip slowly to appreciate the floral agave character and blush hue.
  2. Rosa Paloma: Combine 2 parts Rosa Blanco, 3 parts grapefruit soda, and a squeeze of fresh lime over ice in a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and dried rose petals.
  3. Floral Margarita: Shake 2 parts Rosa Blanco, 1 part fresh lime juice, and 3/4 part hibiscus-infused simple syrup with ice. Strain into a chilled glass with a salted rim. Garnish with a lime wheel.
