Highland-grown Tequilana Azul agave begins Augie's small-batch reposado. Made in Jalisco, the tequila is double-distilled before maturation in American oak casks. The producer also has ties to Santa Barbara. Its approach draws on generations of tequila-making experience, with agave and American oak shaping the finished spirit.

A golden hue accompanies aromas of sweet agave, oak and vanilla. Agave sweetness leads the palate, followed by subtle wood and vanilla notes. The texture is smooth, with the barrel influence adding layers around the agave. A soft, lingering finish closes the sip.
