Description

Amatitán, Jalisco, is the origin of The Lost Explorer Tequila Blanco. Made in small batches from 100% agave, it reflects the lowland setting described by its producer. The tequila is bottled at 43% ABV. Herbs, citrus and earthy minerals form the central thread through its aromas and flavors.

Agave and fresh herbs meet citrus and pineapple on the nose. Buttery hints and warm cinnamon sit underneath. The full-bodied palate combines vegetal and herbal notes with bright citrus and earthy minerality. Cinnamon carries into a long finish, joined by spice and a faint trace of sea salt.

Sip neat or over one large ice cube. Pair with mild panela cheese, pistachios or lightly salted nuts. Citrusy ceviche and a light salsa verde also echo the tequila's herbal and citrus notes.
