Description

In the highlands of Jalisco, Suerte works with 100% blue Weber agave for this small-batch extra añejo. The agave spends 56 hours roasting in brick ovens before tahona crushing and double distillation. Maturation lasts more than seven years in American white oak barrels. Those production details give a clear starting point for understanding the liquid.

Cherry, dried apricot, and vanilla bean lead the nose. Cinnamon, toasted oak, and agave sweetness follow. The full-bodied palate brings candied fruit, caramel, and spiced honey together with stone fruit and baked agave. Oak tannins add structure. A long, warming finish carries cherry compote, cinnamon bark, and a touch of cocoa.

Serve neat in a Glencairn or tequila copita, or over a large ice cube. Dark chocolate, flan, and roasted nuts are suggested companions.
