Description

Hand-cultivated Agave Azul is the starting point for Que Onda Reposado. Made in small batches from 100% Agave Azul, it is slowly cooked in steam ovens and milled with stone tahona wheels. Two distillations in copper pot stills follow. Aging in American white oak gives the additive-free tequila its golden color and adds another dimension to the roasted agave character.

Roasted agave opens the nose, joined by vanilla, oak and a little citrus. The palate carries that agave into a velvety texture, with smooth vanilla and restrained oak spice. Caramel and toasted oak linger through a long finish. A trace of spice leaves a warm closing impression.

Pour neat into a tequila glass or snifter. Serve over ice for a gentler sip, or use it in a classic margarita.
