Description

In the Highlands of Jalisco, Humano works with 100% Blue Weber agave for a joven that combines blanco, reposado and añejo tequilas. Cooking uses both autoclaves and brick ovens. The blend brings together the brightness of blanco and the character of aged tequila. It has a light amber hue and is made without artificial additives.

Cooked agave and black pepper open the nose. Butter, vanilla, green apple and clove follow, with an herbal edge. The palate is silky, moving from sweet cooked agave to caramel and light vanilla. Cinnamon and pepper temper the sweetness, while citrus adds brightness. Caramel and warm spice linger through a smooth finish.

Serve neat or over ice. For a Joven Old Fashioned, add a little agave syrup and an orange twist. It also suits a Paloma or Margarita.
