Nose

Roasted agave leads with cooked sweet potato and light citrus zest. A gentle hint of vanilla and toasted oak emerges from the barrel aging, complemented by subtle floral notes characteristic of Los Altos highland agave.

Palate

The agave-forward character carries through with flavors of roasted agave, caramel, and warm baking spice — cinnamon and white pepper in particular. American oak adds a soft vanilla and butterscotch layer without overwhelming the herbal, earthy agave backbone. The texture is round and slightly viscous, a hallmark of the tahona production process.

Finish

Medium-long with lingering agave sweetness, a whisper of oak tannin, and a gentle warmth. Citrus peel and dried herbs fade slowly, inviting the next sip.

1. Neat: Pour 2 parts G4 Reposado into a snifter or wide-rimmed glass and allow it to open at room temperature. Let the roasted agave and oak notes develop before sipping.
2. Tommy's Margarita: Shake 2 parts G4 Reposado, 1 part fresh lime juice, and 1/2 part agave nectar with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and a pinch of flaky salt.
3. Tequila Old Fashioned: Stir 2 parts G4 Reposado with 1/2 part agave nectar and 2 dashes Angostura bitters over ice. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel.
4. Paloma: Combine 2 parts G4 Reposado with 1/2 part fresh lime juice in a tall glass over ice. Top with grapefruit soda and stir gently. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and a salted rim.
5. Reposado Sour: Shake 2 parts G4 Reposado, 1 part fresh lemon juice, and 3/4 part agave nectar with ice. Strain over fresh ice and garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel.
