Don Julio's distillers select individual casks for this Mexican reposado. Each bottling comes from a single barrel after ten months of aging, with character that can vary from cask to cask. Bottled at 85.4 proof, Private Cask makes that individual barrel a central part of the tequila's story. The approach gives each selection its own nuances.

Caramel and tangerine open the nose, pairing sweetness with a citrus note. The palate turns toward subtle oak, with a rich, smooth character. Spice becomes more pronounced in the finish. It stays on the palate through a long close, retaining a smooth texture.
