The agave grows in a semi-wild setting in Agua del Guaje, San Pedro Lachigoba, San Carlos Yautepec. It takes 13 to 15 years to mature before becoming the basis of this mezcal.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRoasted agave, earth and leather shape the nose, with subtle smoke behind them. The palate is rich and full-bodied. Caramelized sugar and tropical fruit meet an herbal undertone. Smoke continues through the sip, balanced by a mineral note. Spice and sweetness remain through a long, warm finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePour neat into a stemmed copita or small stemmed glass.
